11 Tower Visibility Transmit a SPECI with the X M X X

(1) When notified by the control

decreased to less than or, if below,

increased to equal or exceed 1, 2, or
3SM, 1600, 3200 or 4800 m (IAW
FAA JO 7110.65X, Air Traffic
Control) and the control tower
visibility differs from the prevailing

visibility.

(2) When notified by the control

tower that tower visibility has
decreased to less than or, if below,
increased to equal or exceed locally
developed tower special criteria (if
applicable) and the control tower

visibility differs
from the prevailing visibility.
