               TROPOPAUSE:     noun; the name of the border between the stratosphere and

                       the troposphere

                       Ex. Clouds do not usually rise high enough to cross the tropopause.

                        Note:   tropo (change) + pause (stop)


               TROPOSPHERE:    noun; the name of the layer of the atmosphere that begins

                       at the surface of the earth and extends upward approximately seven
                       miles

                       Ex. Almost all of the changes we call weather occur in the troposphere.
